A VERY long story, short… After meeting a Man on TRUSTED dating site; Chemistry.com. We exchanged Emails, Chats, and phone calls. While talking he stated he was in Ukraine for a few weeks finishing up a contracting project. He even sent me a link for his contract. He claimed to be a TRUSTWORTY Man, with nothing to hide. After weeks passed he stated he ran into some financial problems receiving products through Customs. Claiming Ukraine Government was holding, until more money was paid. He then said he had money that was owed to him, but because of is out of Country status his ability to receive the money was delayed. That’s when he asked for my Banking Account information so the Money could be deposited in my account. I declined and asked a million questions! He convinced me he had my best interest in mind and I was being too cautious from my past relationships. A few more weeks pass, he has worked hard to regain my trust and states how important it is that he is home for the Holiday’s. Feeling a connection to him and being foolish I did send him money using Western Union. I sent money like an idiot! To help with his plane ticket. On the day of his planned departure. I received an Email from a “Doctor” using a YAHOO account stating he was seriously injured in a bus accident on his way to the Airport. The Email claimed they needed my quick response and funds to operate. That’s when I realized I had been a victim! It would be nice to get the money back! But, my main concern is that he or they are using Dating sites to prey on Single women. I don’t want this happening to anyone else. I have found ONE other woman that has been a Victim of his for a YEAR! She met him through Yahoo Personals. She has received duplicate Emails to mine, just our names changed. The other Woman I found has countless Emails and Chat sessions saved
He uses the name of; MARK EVAN MEREDITH Donetsk, Ukraine, Born May 25, 1969 in Netherlands. The Address he gave me is; 33 University Road Donetsk, Ukraine 83005 Phone numbers I have that he has called from 011380635736846, 011380934056492, 0112543000231819, And the “DOCTOR”’s phone number 011380630286247. He also has used the name JOHNIE ALLISON of Kiev, Ukraine to try to get money sent.
Please help put an end to this activity! Times are tough enough without jerks like this out there!

I too was a victim of Mark Meredith. He approached me on Match.com. He claimed that he had an ex-wife and son in Suffolk, Va and was from Amsterdam originally. He sent me numerous emails, texts, IM's, etc. He immediately asked for money for his materials that were stuck in customs, said that he had gotten into an accident but it was in a cab, said that someone owed him $ and that he needed a line of credit account to receive it, etc. The kicker was that he was expecting an inheritance from his family for $12 million. That is why he needed help to get back to the states to sign papers. I hope this man gets caught. I have pictures that he sent me; I have deleted the phone numbers. There was an Atlanta number that went to Google talk. He also called from over seas. Ladies be careful.

I just found out that I am one of his newest victims. I can't believe this!
ReplyDeleteATTENTION! He is now on Craigs list trying to rent out a home that I'm guessing isn't his. He is asking for people to send him the deposit before we get the keys or anything. He also is using two names now one is JOHNIE ALLISON and the other is Sgt.Jeremy Sylestine. He sent us a ridiculous and very obviously fake proof of ownership and a bull shit leasing agreement. It's too bad it was an adorable little yellow house...
